Throwing around numbers is meaningless without context.

In 2019 tourism accounted for 14.6% of Spains GDP of €1.244 BILLION.

Around 24% of that (approx 3.5%) was derived from British tourists the vast majority of whom will still come to Spain both next year and going forward.

If we were to take a conservative  guess that 95% of those will be totally unaffected by the 90 day rule that means the potential loss amounts to no more than 5% of 3.5%, a flea bite in other words.

You can quote percentages all you like but euros are euros and a €70 Billion  Is a LOT OF MONEY.   I’ve seen it so many times on here people playing down  the British tourists coming for their two weeks in summer and what they are worth to Spain.  I’m sure everyone who bought property in Spain started as a “tourist” .  So they don’t need British tourists at all then.   I don’t think so. The finance you are talking about, all the other income streams , may well be worth more money but that’s not the money generated by all the thousands of  small bars and restaurants that are struggling to survive. Tell them tourists are not important .

We are leaving because we don’t want to be a member of the club, but we do want to be treated like every other country who are not members and not singled out because the EU still want to meddle in the running of our country and we refuse them.

Let's be honest the EU don't just want to meddle they want to punish the UK for leaving to discourage other countries from doing the same.

Precisely! The whole negotiation process was a scam from start to finish .
