The posts are painted blue and white at the top and  just appeared at the beginning of June 2021, they spoil the beach. They are just at the point the high tide comes in to and are spaced about 30 feet apart. Is it a Covid measure or just measuring whether the beach is disappearing?? Just wondering how long they will be there, no one seems to know.

Hello

They were initially in place last  year as part of Covid restrictions. No one could sit beyond those posts so everyone walking along by sea, could walk  the other side of the posts as a social distance measure. Other measures were in place too, as ropes divided your sitting space into separate squares. It was all done extremely well, everyone kept to the rules & it was very safe & successful

Cheers
