Have they now got beach beds at La Mata and surrounding beaches, when we was over in July there wasn't any?

Very much doubt it. They didn’t have any on La Mata a week ago and a bit late in the season now.    I believe it was a licensing admin issue following the change in local government party.  Shame and huge loss of revenue.

Thank you. As you say a great shame and could have made a lot of money! We have just bought a holiday home in La Mata and was surprised to see no sun beds.

They were there the last two years and I’m sure they’ll be back next year.

No there are none near Cabo Cervero and I haven’t seen any the entire length of La Mata beach this year.  It is a change of local government licensing bureaucracy issue.

We bought some in the Chinese shop in La Mata and just keep them in the apartment and carry them down to the beach as it's not far.

I returned from la Mata two days ago, no sun beds or pop up beach bars out this year sadly. We often lay on the beach heading towards Guardamar as they usually have a pop up bar as well, but there was nothing this year 😕
