Does anyone know if it's possible to delete obsolete posts (those ones I have taken info from now) . It seems  i may be able to delete my own posts but not those who have replied to me with information/advice . Just trying to tidy up here. Many Thanks.

It's not possible for a member to delete a complete thread - that can only be done by Jan or Alex.

Deleting a thread would also prevent other people from benefiting from helpful replies.

Hi Jim.  whoops! Of course that wouldn't be the right thing to do. Was just wondering if I could tidy up my iPad to save memory space.

While I'm writing to you can I be cheeky and pick your IT brain for another little problem I have? I'm getting gobbledygook emails from this website that are pages long.  I have posted for some advice but as yet have received no replies.  Do you have any dea why that is happening?  I'm not sure if it's my iPad/settings on website etc. I'm at a loss to be honest.  Again hope you don't mind me jumping on your bandwagon🤗

You won’t free up any space by deleting any posts, as they are accessed via the internet and not stored on your iPad. If you have a lot of music, videos and photos on your iPad, have a tidy up of these, as they take up a lot of memory, and will slow your machine down. If your iPad is of the older generation, the operating system is much slower than the modern versions and once the memory gets full or cluttered it will become tediously slow and frustrating to use

Hi Steve61  Thank you for your reply. I'm relieved to know all these posts (which I love reading) will not be cluttering up my iPad memory. I will look into the other tips you mentioned. Your advice is very much appreciated.
