I am considering installing a security/ burglar alarm in my holiday home. I have noticed several properties on my urbanisation have recently installed them.
Does anyone have any recommendations on installers to use? Pros/ cons?

No, cepa that I do wonder how worthwhile they are. Some friends of friends went away for a few days last week and came back to find the house completely trashed, rejas cut with angle grinder and windows smashed, interior completely trashed. The alarm company apparently did not respond to alarm, did nothing.

Before spending and committing to a contract, consider installing some cameras ( we use Tapo which are easy to fit and use) attached to your WiFi they allow you to view your home at any time. We also employ a key holder who makes monthly checks, and if required, does adhoc visits, cleans and laundry!
