Hi there, I’m planning on spending Christmas and new year in la mata, returning to the uk on 3rd jan2019. I’m aware I will miss the kings parade on the 6th jan but wondered if there is anywhere in or around la mata where me and my husband can celebrate New Year’s Eve? Thanks.

Vela Beach is currently finalising an NYE menu and evening schedule.  They have said they will email it to me when complete

In the meantime I’m still investigating where else will be hosting a night. .

I know!!! Can’t imagine they’ll get many takers at that price!

I’m going to check with a few other places like Big House and Il Bacio!

Im hopithere a bar that has dancing etc or the square playing music? I really don’t wanna spend €300 on the two of us for a night out, it’s too much for me. Last year I only paid €50 for a night of food and entertainment in a restaurant but it was in Daya nueva where a friend Was living. I hope we find something soon. I’m going to La Mata for two days in November, I’ll have to have a good nosey 😶

Sounds like a plan!  I know the Aussie bar has closed for the year now so that won’t be open until 2019.
