Contact Frank at FWR eurocars near Alicante airport. He is a genuine good guy and will source what you looking for. He will also do all the paperwork.

I use Eco Parking. Very good service. 250€ / year. Unlimited pick ups and drop offs.

Cheers.

I can recommend this dealer in Villajoyosa. Not much choice in this price range but this might work for you and includes 12 month warranty.

You could try this website...https://www.milanuncios.com/

You can filter your location, price and other important requirements. Your budget is unlikely to get you much in Spain as 2nd hand prices are quite high.

Another source is Facebook Market place/private around your location but you lose any garage guarantee/comeback.

Good luck

Thanks for your advice. I have not had much luck yet. I was basing my price on a runaround in the UK.

The reason that second hand cars are more expensive here is that the weather is much better here. This means that the vehicles last in good condition for more years, and hence hold their value better.

I've heard this explanation before but doesn't make much sense to me. Cars stopped going rusty in the UK decades ago.

I think used cars in the UK are relatively cheap because dealers and manufacturers are constantly inventing ways of selling new cars (with 'Personal Contract Plans' being the current one), thus increasing the supply of used cars and reducing demand for them.  Cars are also much more of a status symbol in the UK than they are in Spain, which also makes new ones more desirable than used.
