Info about La Nucia

Hi. My wife and I have been looking around the Costa Blanca region with a view to a possible move to Spain. Yesterday we drove through La Nucia and will be going back on Monday for a closer look. Any general info about this town would be appreciated for instance, community, social life, recommendations for Estate agents etc.

We lived there for four years and loved it. We were up at the polop area where its much older rustic and rural, its got nice mountain views, good walks, theres 3 big supermarkets close by. There is one English bar but lots of Spanish bars, very friendly area (except the police).
