What’s on in La Nucia ?

We moved into the area a few months ago and are thoroughly enjoying life in La Nucia & Polop but do not find local information easy to come by. News on Fiestas, Clubs, Sports events and activities in the area do not appear well advertised or promoted. The English language press do little coverage of this area and we seem to hear about events after they have taken place. Any suggestions as to how we can involve ourselves and discover more about the community would be very helpful.

Hi

We have had a holiday home in La Nucia for 15 years and moving over there in January, the best way to find out what’s on is from other people, talking to neighbours, bar owners etc. Sometimes you can find things in local English newspapers as well although they seem to concentrate on Benidorm.

There should also be dates for things going on in the casa de cultura and the sports centre.
