A neighbour has started using a wood burner the smoke from s coming into out bedroom, the other night we had the bedroom window slightly open, and it was coming in, we thought the place was on fire that was after midnight the on the washing line stinks. The people do not speak to anyone, so talking to them will be a waste of time, What can be done ,?

I hardly think it blows on to your villa continuously, depends which way the wind us blowing. You can not tackle your neighbour over a feature if the weather.
Strange that , as you dont live there.

Don't know if you have a rep on your Urbanisation, if you do maybe they could speak to the owners on your behalf.
It is my belief we all have a right to breathe clean air, just think of the damage it's doing to not only your lungs but those of everyone else living nearby and it is particularly damaging to children's lungs.
If I had my way I would ban all wood burning fires, open fires et al, they are dirty throw all sorts of crud into the air, just last night a neighbours chimney was belching out smoke, it was drifting everywhere, the people who's fire is causing the problem are sitting inside away from the smoke.

Why not ban cars, air travel and stop eating meat all of these are far more polluting than a log burner

"Cosy open fires and wood-burning stoves are at the heart of many homes up and down the country," said Environment Secretary George Eustice.
"But the use of certain fuels means that they are also the biggest source of the most harmful pollutant that is affecting people in the UK."

If only Spain was as environmentally savvy.
