Property Transfer or will ?
I am undecided between adding my kids to the deeds for future prosperity or signing my property over to them, any advise welcome
Thank you in advance

Either of those two options means that your children would have to pay gift tax before their names could be added.
It might be cheaper to leave the property to them in your Spanish will. In part that will depend on whether, post-Brexit, your children will be entitled to the Valencian tax-free allowance, or just the much lower state allowance.

Hi Jim, many thanks for replying.
The will sounds like the better option, would you know of or could you recommend a decent Lawyer or someone similar who could sort this for me ?
kind regards

Yes. Look for guidebookspain .com. It is politics.
Hi, we used the notary in Almoradi that Jim used to recommend. We can highly recommend him too, charge was 57€ per will (a couples mirror wills were just 114€.
