We've never had a problem with Correos, and letters or packages we post from here get to the recipients quicker than if they'd been posted in the UK.

Personally it find it disrespectful and insulting when people seek to portray Spain as some sort of 3rd. world country where it's not safe to post a letter or parcel - or drink the water.

Ufortunately it's something which seems to have infected the mindset of some who are then all to willing to attempt to pollute others with unfounded criticism and hearsay usually without a single sintilla of actual evidence to back it up.

The fact is while not denying that in some cases delivery to the door can be an issue in other respects the Spanish postal system is no less fast and efficient than any other in the world, including UK, and orders of magnitude better than many.

Just post it at the post office (correos), just like the UK. I've never had any problems, even important documents.

Please excuse some people on here, they are very rude, after all you were asking for advice
