Has anyone got a Padron from the Town Hall in La Romana? Did you have to make an appointment or just turn-up?

I have tried emailing them asking for the process, but can't get a response.

Thanks...

Appointment necessary, however, as you have to turn up to book the appointment they may take pity on you! Passport, TIE and proof of the address. You will need this for each person on the Padron and all need to attend. If, you are renting then you need the Rental Agreement in Spanish.

This is the fourth Padron I have required in Spain and by far the most difficult one procedure wise. It might be worth engaging a local interpreter to help.

I had a response from the town hall.

Basically I can turn up any time week commencing the 10th of January between 08:00 -14:00 and they will do our Padrons.

Just need NIE numbers, passports and house deeds.

Thanks for the reply....

Just to say we had no problems with ours. As you said just take the documents you stated. Took about 5 minutes. The ladies in the office don't speak English but if you go on a Wednesday when David is there he speaks a little. Never had any problems at la Romana town hall they have always been very helpful
