Hi, we are completing on a house purchase tomorrow in La Sella.  Just wondered if anyone has used the Ikea store in Ondara and if so how it works?  Do you order online and then get it delivered or do you order it in the store and pick up from store.  (We are in the UK at the moment and not sure when we will be coming over, due to quarantine rules!)

Thanks in advance

Hi Sweeper,

We bought  in La sella this year and visit la marina often. We have seen IKEA but it is not like the stores in the UK but a small unit that seems to be more of a furniture design centre kitchen/bathrooms. I'm sure you will receive further information  from the forum. Good luck  with your move

As the previous poster said, the IKEA unit in PDLM isn't a conventional store.

You might be better looking at JYSK who have a store there and do deliver large items. Smaller purchases can also be collected at the rear of the store.

JYSK is similar in style to the goods you see in IKEA. There are also two good kitchenware/utensils shops in the Mall.

The nearest IKEA is about 45 minutes to the north, just off the AP-7 motorway on the approach to Valencia.

Hi.  Sorry this is not related to your question. However we are thinking of buying in las Ella but haven’t been there yet due to quarantine.   Can you recommend it? And why did you choose there?

Alison

hi Alison

We have had an apartment in La Sella for 20 years and recently sold and bought somewhere bigger - we looked at all the surrounding areas and we just couldn’t find anywhere we liked as much. It has a lovely feel when you come in, it feels safe and it’s beautifully kept.

hope this helps!

Thank you so much it looks beautiful and calm.   Although it looks like a lot of the apartments don’t get a lot of sun and I was wondering which area to focus on.
