I need to return the hire car back to alicante airport is there a bus service to Quesada or does any one know the cost of a taxi ,also will I have any problems with the police
Might be an option to get the Airport Bus to Torrevieja, after that it would be a taxi as there is no bus service, in normal times there are usually plenty of taxis outside the bus station. I have added the timetable, however the times may have changed during the lockdown.

I think the original post states Alicante airport and not Alicante? = two different services? Yes there is a airport bus, which used to run directly from Alicante airport to torrevieja bus station roughly every hour, but when the lockdown was introduced this changed to every two hours? As there are not many flights now I think it’s best to check with torrevieja bus station for any if any schedule? The other option is to get a taxi from Alicante airport to Quesada? On a normal day the cost of a taxi would be about 60 Euro, but I am on the understanding the taxi will only take one person, so hopefully you will be travelling alone, take all paper work with you concerning the hire car to help if stopped by the police. Good luck.
