I love it , I think that these eras in music were the best one . No wonder why we still play them nowadays.

I am 55 and have varied tastes in Music so will be as to the point as I can.

Q1 80's and 90's with a bit of Lady Gaga,Tia,Spice Girls and 1 direction thrown in for good measure.

Q2 You Spin Me Right Round, Work that Gang Man Style, Sometimes by Erasure, Rockabye Baby, Play That Sax, Uptown Funk,

Q3 Theme nights are good with fancy dress

Just do not like the "wedding reception" type evenings.

I buy compilation CD's as I love to mix my music up. I eve  love the song "take a selfie" great beat and fun words.

I think you are having the same thoughts I had some time ago but please be careful. The problem I (and many of my friends) have, is that each bar churns out the same old crap. There is very little choice so you can choose what bar you spend your money in, just by flipping a coin. Example: If you like rock - and plenty do - the place to go is Monroe's Bar in Torrevieja! There's nothing else like it anywhere else.

Best songs: Very difficult to answer but if forced.....:

3. Themed nights? Can work but it HAS to be something different to the karaoke/60's/70's "pop" crap that is dished out everywhere else.

My views, yes, but shared by many - I know. I've met them.
