Hi just a query into what is being built at the bottom of La Siesta. We had a walk last night and noticed the fencing surroudind the area. We have a holiday home here wouldn't it be great if it was a shopping centre any one know?

Hi Karol1112, The fencing is all the way round next to the scrub land beside  the water park quite a big area cordoned off in a square. Hope its shopping area.

We are in calle rodrigo and our next door neighbour seems to think it's going to be a new park.however wether this is true or not i would much prefer some better shops though :)

Excuse my ignorance, I haven’t had a lot of time to explore yet as only bought my holiday home last year, but isn’t there enough parks around this area ? Shops would have been great but I do remember ready a few months back about a park being re done ?

We are in Calle Rodrigo also and don't drive so it would be great if this area was marked for shops. We are only here on & off maybe a week or two throughout the year so would be good to know what's planned.

We have one large park in la siesta that could really do with a update so let's hope they update the park and build some better shops on the site. I completely agree we need some better shops it would be so much easier with a 3 year old not having to go all the way to mercadona.

Totally agree, there is the petrol station shop, and 2 tiny shops in opposite directions all quit a slap to get to , especially if you have little ones or not feeling to good ect . So it would be fantastic to have a decent ones nearer 😄👍
