Morning, 3am in La Siesta,  Someone has just rang our door bell several times,

then a car drove away,

Our car is left outside so they knew someone was here

Obviously we did not answer but am left pretty unnerved.

Just wondered if anyone else had this happen locally

That would worry me too,  on our first night in our new built house on its own outside the village of Serena  ,in the campo , down in Mojacar 22years ago.  I heard a car engine running and saw it’s lights down at our gate,  we have quite a long drive. I was thinking, who is this, are they going to come up to our house!  I waited, A white van arrived and stopped at the side of them in their small white car. An English voice said, are you ok?  The reply was ,also English, oh, we are just making phone calls, this is the only place we get a signal.  WELL, I slept well after all.  and indeed, yes, our house gets more peace than in a village, Sunshine ALL day, unlike the village and We Get The Best Mobile Signal.   So, if you think logically, if someone rings your bell, they are not really going to break in.They possibly just needed help. I hope you feel better about it soon. At least you can have a baseball bat with nails in it, as my hubby has lol. 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Back in the day naughty kids used to do that…. Wrap dog poop in newspaper, set it on fire on your doorstep and watch from a distance as you stomped it out 😳🤬
