Hi, I am looking for some advice on how long do you leave your electric water boiler on each day? We are just two people.   I am use to a gas heat on demand boiler at home.

All day. It costs less to maintain a steady heat. Rather than switch off and heat from cold a few times a day. It costs pennies to leave it running.

Thanks for your reply!  We were over in September for 3 weeks and left it on the hold time, it was our first time in our new house, and wasn't sure, as we didn't get our electric bill yet.

Hi Bruno, have you considered a gas alternative, Don De in Quesada do gas water heaters, operate from bottled gas. Cheap to run and hot water instantly.

Hi Mal!
We only bought our house this summer, so haven't been out much as yet,  will see how the electric one works out first.
