I'm new, as I've just bought a house in La Siesta. The previous owner has left a washing machine and a T.V. neither of which work. I need to have them taken away, but have no idea how. Does anyone know of somebody in the area that would dispose of them for me for a reasonable price? Thanks

Hello,

I have mine (no matter how large the item), picked up by the authorities without a fee.  Always had an excellent and reliable service.

Try:

  •  Phoning 96 669 3955 and although given your geographical location it may be irrelevant to you, they may be able to give you the number of closer service. I get the impression they do more than just one borough.
  • Look up "Recogida de basuras y enseres en La Siesta" using a search engine.
  • Or, (the longest way round) getting the number of "Recogida de basuras y enseres" from your ayuntamiento.
Hope this helps.S

Alternatively, put them by the bin and they'll soon disappear.

They'll go even quicker if you put a note on saying 'buen estado de funcionamiento'.
