I know that there are many markets in Torrevieja, but I was wondering if there is a 'Wet Market' or 'Fish Market' where it's possible to buy the daily catch? I live in Cyprus at the moment, where we do have a daily Wet Market, although you need to go around 5am for the best fresh fish.

I don't know about Torrevieja, but there's a fish market on the marina at Guardamar where the daily catch is sold off. Go early - about 9.30 am.

Sorry Carol, I don't know yet. It's been on my list of things to do for a long time, but the problem is getting Margaret up and ready in good time. It's in the same building as the restaurant on the marina, and it was the chef who told me about it. In retrospect, I didn't find out enough information, but it might be worth you asking the tourist information office.
