Just feeling a little sad .
Another Birthday and as usual these days no Post deliveries so no Birthday cards.
Friends and Family in England do everything as requested by their English Post Office
but now I have to told them not to bother anymore.
Only a small thing compared to some situations.
But at 83 rather a sad feeling and the end of years of pleasure . What on earth happens to all these undelivered birthday & Christmas Cards.

So sorry you had a cardless birthday, I always enjoy a nice birthday card. I must admit that our postie here in Benidorm always delivers!!
You could ask your family and friends to send a virtual card through "Moonpig" in addition to the physical card. At least you would always get a card of some type.

Sorry to hear that Ann. Where do you live? Since when did you stopped receiving post? Spanish post is as reliable as post in UK. I received everything what I should. Even driving licence, credit cards. All Christmas and birthday cards are arriving well ahead, as my friends and family are giving a lot of time for them to arrive from abroad. Even Amazon UK delivery arrived days before estimated time and with no charges. Problem could be a postal adress, my is different from a fiscal. In urbanizations/gated communitie you usually get your pidgen hole post box.In the village, if you don't live in centre, you may get similar post box. In Hondon de los Frailes, we had to confirm our adress with town Hall, so we can continue to use our box. Anyway Ann, a very Happy birthday from me. Let me know, if you need help with your post.

We have had dreadful post here in Torrevieja since Brexit finally got sorted out. In March Our Grand Daughter sent us a Wedding invitation which we went to collect. We had charges on it if 11 euros, even the lady in Correos said "Not worth it"
My Daughter in fact visited last month and bought our Christmas cards for us. Isn't that sad.
As you say Spanish post used to be great but cannot even remember when we last saw a Correos delivery Bike
Amazon still delivers on time of course. thank goodness. As do DHL for parcels but contents are now very limited .

Happy Belated Birthday. I feel your pain, we have had no communal post box since March for our Urbanisation Until we build a new wall & new boxes. I have to collect my mail from La Mata P,O every week -- after 14days in the Correos it is gone!!
Do your neighbours get mail.? Ask them what address they use & see if its the same as yours ( apart from number) Can someone call in your Post Office and ask where the post is?
I have to collect belated birthday cards tomorrow ,that didnt arrive on time for my birthday but I did get some ecards & deliveries from Amazon, Spain..(amazon.es)

Could your friends and relatives not send you an email greeting of some sort? There is at least one organisation which, for a membership fee, will send a number of delightful cards by email on your birthday. Google "Jacqui Lawson" for reference.

Not the same Marcbernard, love the words and sentiment in cards that I keep for years Ann
We live with 6 neighbours and one letterbox. Because of privacy reasons correos stopped our post, without telling us. Now we have for 120 euros a postbox at the postoffice. You might be in the same situation? Ronald
