Irresponsible Dog Owners

As much as we are dog lovers sometimes we are amazed at the irresponsible attitude of some dog owners. This week while having a meal at a restaurant in Cabo Roig, seated outside, the couple at the next table had their dog with them. While that in itself was not a problem it was when they sat on when their dog peed all over the terrace, making no effort to move. They then proceeded to ask the waiter to clear up the mess, so out came the mop and bucket.

Come on dog owners, show some respect for other people and for business owners and their staff. Keep your dog under proper control in public areas.

I am a dog owner and totally agree with you.

The amount of dog mess I see is disgusting. I offer bags if someone is not attempting to pick up after their dog. A water bottle is good so any wee can have water put on top.

WWe are blessed that our dogs can come with us but if the minority carry on as you witnessed it won't be long before a dogs are banned ad they do in many places in the UK.

Tony you seem to have missed the point completely but great you too agree not enough people pick up after their own dog.

As dog owners we are responsible for our 4 legged best friends as you say no one else.

The point was that they made no effort to move the dog away from other customers who were having their dinner, their only concern was to have the flood cleared up around their feet.

I agree with the comments on dog poop.

As a waitress I would have given them the mop?! Or asked for €20 if it was quiet and then done it.
