i have purchased a property in the la zenia area in feb 2020, i have till now not been able to get over

with restrictions . it has a tv and a satelite dish, if i bring over a uk tv box will it work in spain.

also i have virgin in the uk is it possible to watch virgin via my laptop connected to the tv, any advise would be greatfully welcome.we are only coming over a few times a year, so dont want to get tied down with contracts, many thanks alan and anita.

Just because you have a dish doesn't mean it's pointed at the correct satellites for UK TV. We're the previous owners British?

Most obvious indicator will be the size where if it's less than 1.4m diameter then you're out of luck because that is the minimum you need for that. Assuming it is 1. 4m, and that it is in fact correctly aimed, then yes, you can bring a Sky or Freesat box from UK to use with it.

I know nothing about Virgin. Almost certainly there will be a way to connect your laptop to the TV but then you will of course need an Internet connection to get anything on it.

I don't know what, if any, 'turn on - turn off' Internet service might be available to you, your neighbours might be best placed to answer that.

many thanks for your input, yes the previous owner was from the uk, so hopefully it should work,

i understand that i might have to get internet if i want to get virgin,i have emailed the couple that look after the complex i am in, she has recomended someone, so fingers crossed, thanks again.
