Will UK sky box work with my big dish for free to air channels in Spain

Hi. My satelite box has decided to give up on me after 2 years. I know it is the box, as I plugged my neighbours one in and it works fine. I have the big 1.2 metre dish ok. My question is, if I bring a sky box over from UK or Ireland, will it work or am I better getting a box over there in Media mkt etc.? Failing that, I may get a TV company in to install and set up. If so can someone recommend. Thanks in advance

A 1.2 will not bring down the main channels 4 5 Itv BBC its needs to a 1.4 because the Sky box tuner is not that good as its made for a satellite above it's head so to speak. If you need help Private Message Me

I supply tv boxes or firesticks with 1000’s movies and sports...no dish needed just WiFi.

Sorry. My mistake. It is in fact the larger 1.4 metre dish. I was getting all those channels fine. I guess I just need a box.

Ok np, neither do I (holiday home) but I’ve removed my dish and have WiFi on PAYG system so it’s just on when I’m there.

We’re getting keys tomorrow in Los dolses but only over for a week this time. Back in June at which time want to sort internet and tv. Roughly how much would the box or firestick be? Would it pick up any sky channels and is it self updating? Lots of questions, sorry
