Hi Blanco,

Sorry, but I'm not reading that as good news.  You said you have a Tourist Licence, i.e. for short term lets, which I believe are included in the ones that this legislation is forcing to close.  I suspect that this is the new law to which your agent and their lawyer are referring. ...

... As you say that your friends are staying at no charge, I think you need to double-check this with your own lawyer and especially your friends' legal position if they are unable to book one of the repatriation flights back to the UK.

Kind regards,

Kim

Yes Kim I think you’re right but will check. Plan b is that they will need to try to get home before Thursday

Their flight was was 30 March but cancelled and they were told they could not get another until the end of May. They were just going to wait it out but are now concerned about the 7 day edict and possible fine (so am I!). They are looking for alternatives but not much luck, they are with Ryanair....

... I have emailed my own solicitor but no reply yet.

We are having exactly same problem with same dates 30th march cxld. Earliest offer was May 2nd but then  received urgent request to go home to uk NOW

Most flights grounded.
