Thanks of this helpful post John, it’s great the beaches are opening, but I wonder if it will be quite some while before the toilet facilities will be available. It was very frustrating last year having no toilets for months during the enforced beach bar closures , so hopefully they won’t be closed for too long.

By the way has the repairs to Campoamor and La Zenia beaches been finished now, would hope with all this time  they are now restored to their former glory.?

The beaches have all been repaired but the road down by Campoamor is still to be repaired. I agree about the lack of toilet facilities, they are managed by the beach bars none of which are open.

Thanks for the speedy reply John, we don’t think we will be over till early September, so hopefully the beach bars and thus the toilets will be open for us.
we also hope by then that we will be able to use our communal pool without all the current challenging regulations

For info,

Playa La Glea in Campoamor now has a temporary wooden path where the flood damage occurred.

Unfortunately, it is very unclear when and how permanent repairs to the promenade will be made as they need to avoid the same thing happening again as the Rio Naciemento can become a huge river during a Gota Fria.
