John, thanks again for the latest update. If approved, which is far from certain, it would extend the state of Alarm to the far end of June.

Protests already in Salamanca area of Madrid opposed to continuation of restrictions on freedom of movement.

Yes the Madrileños are getting frustrated they are behind the rest of the Country in the deescalation process and many are angry that they were prevented from coming to their second homes on the Costa earlier in the lockdown.

Too true Angebadge. Tensions appear to be rising in a number of areas.

I saw that on Spanish news this morning and there were a lot of protesters and police involved, and several arrests made.

Not seen a report on it on UK news but Michael Gove brushed it off as 'a few protesters' when it came up on Andrew Marr Show.

I heard about a large protest rally in Bristol that attracted about a dozen protesters.

Bristol was just walkers exercising in the par!

A few more in Hyde Park, including Corbyn's brother. Six arrests and some interesting signage.

Oh, yes, I heard that; Corbyn’s brother. Well, well, well. Now I know the phrase is “not my brother’s keeper” but I still find that interesting 🤪🥂

Having brothers who disagree can be a bit of a pain for politicians, especially leaders.

Boris's brother Jo resigned from the cabinet last year as he disagreed with Boris's leadership and David and Ed Miliband were also always at loggerheads, especially when Ed was labour leader.

Family eh? Who'd have em?
