Still to see anything Official but Costa Blanca News Facebook page is reporting a proposal for after the State Of Alarm.

"Continued use of face masks proposedThe government is planning to extend the obligatory use of face masks beyond the end of the state of emergency on June 21, according to state broadcaster RTVE.

They have been handed a copy of the draft measures due to be approved in Cabinet next Tuesday, which are designed to manage the healthcare crisis when the state of emergency is over.

People would be obliged to wear a face mask in closed public areas when two-metre social distancing cannot be observed, according to the draft.

The draft text also establishes fines of up to €100 for failing to follow the rule."

Thanks again John.

The issue regarding Airlines retaining Passenger seat information for a month after travel is an interesting one, as it will now surely put paid to the 'musical chairs' scenario of passengers randomly changing positions for empty seats before and during flights.

Where can I get something to cover this?

“The decree also specifies that people with any kind of respiratory disease or breathing difficulty will not have to wear the protective equipment.“

I was ok before may 15? My Doctor can’t issue anything either

Anything useful would be good thanks

Does anyone know what happens once the state of alarm ends with regard to the different phases do they carry on or just fizzle out?

If they carry on how will the rules be communicated to tourists.

We will all have to get used to that hateful phrase "the new normal".

Lol! Lecky Les, eating out is now such a soulless experience, no atmosphere, I really used to enjoy going out for a meal or coffee and breakfast, but now i really don't want to do anything any more, there is no pleasure in anything.

I quite agree Pix Elated, since the ar5se about face change on the Wearing of masks, no need originally when risk was highest - used to do the food shopping all fine then the rule- no going out wife can’t drive so she walked to supermarket got food loaded the car I drove home. Then we could both go in one car.

I as “taxi” driver made my observations Stood outside near the car

Iceland - married couples of opposite sex could not enter - fine following the rules - two women entered without  question Two blokes without question odd I thought.

China shop - Spaniards allowed in without masks all other nationalities must wear masks

JYSK - wear mask if you felt like it

Al Campo - enter without mask near exit - obligatory - why weren’t they told when entering?

Cafe- fun bit - lady wearing mask waiting for coffee to cool then somehow managed to take sip from side of her mouth WITH mask in place!! It got coffee stained though

Can’t remember where this one was but man refused entry To shop no mask on but did have on full face plastic forehead to below chin one like the anti spray ones cash couriers Use

All very odd so taxi driver I remain

Probably look to move out of beloved Spain now it open prison and I have not committed any crime!
