Steve, I'm puzzled. Your location shows La Zenia but you're asking about Murcia.
If you are La Zenia, then if you owned the car on 1st January, you should have received notice from SUMA about the amount of car tax and how to pay it.
Again, if you're La Zenia, don't have an ITV done in Murcia, as that would miss out part of the test required in the Valencian Community.
The following includes a link to the list of all ITV stations:
Alternatively, open Google Maps and in the search box enter e.g. la zenia, itvHi jim, a friend took it to murcia last year even though we are la zenia based. I wanted to do the same whilst im over. The sticker in the screen i presume dates the ivt?
Ive had a suma bill but its all spanish.
Cheers
Decree 19/2004, article 6 states that if the car is registered in Valencia and is ITV'd outside of Valencia, it must be presented at a Valencia ITV station within a month for noise testing otherwise it will be invalid.
There is an ITV station in San Pedro Del Pinatar.

Read my guide. An ITV done in Murcia doesn't comply with Valencian requirements.
The sticker gives you the month of expiry. You need to look at the paper counterpart, which you must have in the car, to see the exact expiry date.

Car tax is chargeable to the person who owned the car on Jan 1st, so you won't yourself get a bill this year.
Our bills came out a couple of weeks ago and the direct debits were taken 10th April, but the payment period may differ between different areas.
Your problem is ensuring the bill is paid. That might well not be due by the dealer, but the original owner, as dealers don't normally transfer to their own ownership because of the transfer tax involved.
