Hi can anyone advice on putting a Spanish address into my Sat Nav. I’m looking to travel home to the UK. We got here ok but trying to navigate the Spanish address code was a bit of a nightmare. First time using and driving to Spain with a sat nav.

On our return journey we will be staying in Pamplona at the hotel El Toro Pamplona the full address given on my booking confirmation is Carretera de Guipuzcoa 5 Berrioplano 31195. How does this fit into my sat nav it says not recognised so I must be putting it in back to front. I can find it on my Google maps no problem but would prefer to use the sat nav. Any advice would be helpful

I always use the post code in your case 31195 but for the best navigation within a metre or so is the co-ordinates.They may well be available on the hotels website.

Find it on Google maps and use the map  coordinates. That's what I did with all the Spanish places I visited.  No problem 😊

Hi Chris,

I have given up using my sat nav and only use Google maps for getting around, far better in my opinion. I have used it extensively in Spain as well as the UK, never had a problem. Always up to date plus good real time traffic analysis as well.

I know this place when it was known as a hooker hangout, Can't say if it still is.

This is OK if you aren't paying for your data. I'm assuming that the O/P is UK resident and may not have free data roaming on their UK phone contract.

To O/P try putting the Spanish post code in first, or, as Steve as suggested, use the map coordinates.

Enjoy the trip.

Yes, that's a good point. I am UK based but have free roaming data with BT mobile.

Many thanks for advice. No I don’t have free roaming this is why I wanted to use the Sat nav. Also I can only plug one device into the lighter socket as my phone runs out of battery quickly. I’m sure I will solve the problem before we leave. Thanks again
