Hi All,
My name is Gretta, I've decided to take the plunge & I'm moving from Ireland to La Zenia as soon as I can sort accommodation. I would like to be there by October.
I don't know anyone in La Zenia and it would be nice to know before hand of social groups etc that will be welcoming and help me settle into my new life, I'm almost 50 and I love a good game of Texas Holdem.

Hi Gretta and welcome
If you are on Facebook there are lots of local pages for groups and local commercial centres with info of what’s happening and where. Also groups like Ladies Of Spain and Ladies of Costa Blanca South on FB
La Zenia is close to Cabo Roig one way and Playa Flamenca, La Florida, Punta Prima etc the other way.
So many friendly and welcoming people.

Given that you're Irish, you could do worse than to pop into Paddy's Point for a drink - it won't take you long to get chatting to the staff, and others.
