Can anyone recommend a reliable taxi service that we can utilize from La Zenia (to and from) both Alicanti airport and the new Murcia airport. I have now been let down twice by Sun Transfers.com and forced to rush around at the last minute looking for alternative transport from La Zenia to the airport to enable us to catch our flights. As far as I am concerned reliability is more important than cost, unfortunately to date this has not been the case. We make the return journey once every couple of months and would really appreciate not having to worry if the taxi is going to arrive.

Many thanks

Hew.

Coaches run to Alicante Airport from Torreviega coach Station.

we have always been lucky in that, we pre request a taxi from La Zenia & to date haven't  been let down, the taxi takes approximately 15 mins & the coach takes 55 minutes to the Airport for 7 Euros.

You can pick up a leaflet from the tourist kiosk in La Zenia Boulevard.

Don't know 're; murcia Airport.

Look at beniconnect.com

I have heard good things, but used them myself. Would look to be great for families.

Thanks Patrick, they look good and I have just booked with them from RMU to La Zenia. I used Sun transfers.com for a long time but no more, due to their lack of reliability, and the long drawn out efforts of getting a refund, when they just didn't turn up. They made it seem as if they were doing me a favor with a refund. Anyway, I was let down more than once, so never again. But Beniconnect.com look fine, Cheers..

Just an update, due to the previous unreliability of Sun Transfers I booked with Beniconnect this time, as recommended. Guess what,  It was the same driver that normally picks us up with Sun transfers. Looks to me that they all out souse their work irrespective of who you book with! Anyway, I have made future arrangements with neither of the above,  using a highly recommended service. Thanks all.

As mentioned previously I get a local taxi to Torreviega Bus station & get the Airport coach from there , it takes approx 50 minutes , cost 7 Euros , it goes on the hour, that's to Alicante, unsure 're: Murcia.

Thank you all for the advice, appreciated. The point I was really trying to make was that irrespective of which ever operator you use, Beniconnect OR Sun transfers. (Two separate operators). They employ the same third party taxis/drivers irrespective of which company you book through. That sort of defeated the object of me moving from one to the other carrier!.  Right now I have arranged alternative regular transportation and satisfied with same. Many thanks again.
