Good Evening,

Please be aware of the following. I withdrew money from the cash machine located in the asseos next to PRIMARK at La Zenia boulevard on the 31 March 18. When I attempted to make a further withdrawal from my account today, 07 April 18, I was informed that no funds were in my account and to contact my bank. I knew that my account had sufficient funds in it however, when I checked on line I found that a number of withdrawals had been made by someone else. I reported this to my bank and they confirmed that my card had been "cloned" and the withdrawals had been made from a number of machines, using my details, from towns I have never visited. If you have used these machines. Please check your accounts.

Which machine did you use? There are two from different banks in there.

Hi

Sorry to hear of your card getting cloned. I was just wondering if your bank refunded you the money as they do in the UK?

It's a nightmare in the UK never mind in 🇪🇸!

Thanks

Glen

My bank card also had a duplicate amount taken out that I withdrew at the same ATM on 29/03. Check your accounts.

Hi,

I was using a Post Office travel money card, however, when I spoke with their call centre they said they would open a fraud file and investigate this issue but it was unlikely that they would refund the money. I have filed a complaint because I believe that the account and its funds should be protected like any other bank debit or credit card moreover this is the second occasion that this occurred with my Post Offce Travel Money card in less than a year which would suggest that the card is easily cloned.
