Hi I am currently here in la zenia on holiday. I live in Cyprus and have 2 British mini markets. As we have family living in la zenia area I have noticed a lack of a British mini market and am thinking of expanding from cyprus to here. Do people think this type of shop is needed here in la zenia area. If you do or don't any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks guys
Other than the supermarkets that have a limited range of British products there is a mini market in La Zenia, located down from the taxi rank near the La Zenia roundabout on the N332 in the commercial centre that has the Randy Leprechaun pub and the Dog and Bone phone shop. The shop has a wide range of British and Irish brands.

Not cheap, it seems a common trait with shops selling UK goods to sell at 3 times plus more expensive, I realise import taxes have to be paid but the prices are at times, a complete rip off, if someone had the common sense to open up a shop and make the prices more reasonable they will be successful

We have moved to Playa Flamenca and we either go over to La Florida or into Torrevieja to Iceland, I would say if you can keep prices lowish then there is a good market especially with holiday makers, we now try what we think is a Spanish alternative doesn't always work but if we were on holiday we would probably just stick with what we know no matter what the price. Gama in Villa Martin sell loads of UK products and prices are reasonable too. Also Tery's in El Galan has a reasonable stock of real ale!!! Yummy!
