Long term rental

Can anyone enlighten me please, when looking on rentals that agents have sent us it says the monthly rental cost then it says 1000 LT. what is LT?

It may mean Long Term.

I thought that but it seems a bit odd for long term to be priced higher than short term.

Best to check with the agent.

Makes sense. 650 in the quiet months, or 1000 per month all year.

During the summer this may rent out for 650 per week, so over the year it works out...

Our rental through a proper agent for 10 months Dec to Sept is same price per month for whole time. We were pleasantly surprised because we thought they would want more rent in summer.

I heard there is a new rule (?) about stabilising long term rent cost because it needs to be more affordable for locals to have their homes here.

Hi we have been winter renting for some years now in Torre de la Horadada the prices have gone up 200 Euros per Month so we have been looking to rent in other areas can but can’t find an agent can any one please recommend one. Also is it true that you can only rent now for 3 Months any longer and you have to take out a residence, if so what does that involve. Thanks, Gren.
