Hi, we are looking a for long term rental in La Zenia, 2 bed, ground floor, close to boulavard, shops and bars, sept/oct . We have noticed in the last month that a house  we have been interested in has  gone up by 200 a month and wondered what the reason would be, from 600-800 is a big rise.

Many people who are renting out properties look for the big money for letting over the summer months when they can get as much fro a week as they can for a month in Winter.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

This is for Oct onwards, it’s been 600 up until a month ago, just wondered if it’s rentals in general that have gone up, saying that there are still a few for 600

Minimum letting periods have increased under the new long term rental laws just passed. With restrictions on how much rents can be increased by, it MAY BE the owner has taken that limitation on their long term income into account. Just a guess though.
