Random post this I know but anywhere in the La Zenia area that sells good sausages. i.e to buy from a supermarket.
Been to the area loads but the Spanish ones are always ropey. (Probably cause I've no idea what I'm buying)
Just looking for something similar to a UK breakfast banger.
Used to bring square sausage from Glasgow with me but not sure if I could still do this post Brexit. Even brought a frozen steak pie for Hogmanay last time!

We have tried sausages from just about every Supermarket here in Spain in the 6 years we have been here, all without exception have been disappointing. In the land of Iberico Pork i fail to understand why the sausages are like they are.
We now get our sausages from Bells Butchers the Cumberland and Lincolnshire are lovely. Our friends who live in Northern Ireland always bring us packs of sausages and this time they also got us some lamb chops, no problem bringing them in to Spain.

You can get Lincolnshire and Cumberland sausages from Dialprix supermarkets. I regularly buy both types from our branch along with British smoked bacon.
Otherwise there are some butchers that also do (lovely) UK mix sausages.

Sounds exactly the same as my experience. I think I'll just chance a half block of frozen square and see what happens. Sure it'll be fine.

You have Iceland and Tesco who both sell British branded sausages including lorne sausage.
But if you are looking for a tasty sausage, try one of the many British Butchers in the area.
There is one in Los Dolses I believe.
But the one I thoroughly recommend Reeves Butchers on the CV905 the road between Habaneras and Quesada. Left side of the road, just past Mercadona and a couple of doors away from The Christmas Shop.
Variety of flavours, pork, pork and apple, Lincolnshire etc etc. You can buy a breakfast pack from them if you want to. They make their own pies as well.
The British butchers all take Christmas Orders and Hogmanay Steak Pie Orders.

I usually freeze stuff and pack it in hold luggage so I'll probably do that again. When I go for Christmas & New Year it's usually perfect by the time I arrive. Nothing better than a roll, square sausage, tottie scone, sitting on a Spanish roof terrace in 20⁰ sunshine. 😊
You can try the English Butcher at Los Dolses commercial centre- about 100 m ffrom Dialprix supermarket.
