Does anyone know the closing times of the various supermarkets in the La Zenia area.
I arrive on the afternoon of the 24th Dec (land at 4:30pm) but I'm aware that some of the supermarkets may close early.
I'll have a car so I can go to any of them if anyone knows one that will be open.

Hello there,
Most, if not all, supermarkets in Spain close early on the 24th of December as this is the evening that they celebrate Christmas with family and friends.
Suggest you ask a neighbour or friend to do some shopping for you.

Both Mercadona & Lidl look like they will close early so 6-7pm. so no time to waste after your arrival

Saying they close at 8pm on the 24th.
Mad dash from the airport but hopefully can make it in time to stock up with supplies for the beach.

On the money for this one. Mercadona have now got back to me and confirmed they are 7pm.

Assuming you're driving from the airport, you could do your shopping at Mercadona in Gran Alacant on your way to LZ on the N332.
