In a similar vein, her indoors can tell I have gone the the pub when I have been out and about, entirely by her own intuition.

It's a five minute walk from my house to the pub.
It’s a thirty five minute walk from the pub to my house.
The difference is staggering.

Villas , that's a lovely thought, although on occasions it can also be wise practice to bring flowers back, after actually being inside the pub ! 😃👍🌷

My wife bought me so much paint for the lock down .but she forgot the paint rollers and brushes happy days 🤣🤣🤣
