Water bills

Hello
My water bills are high and even when I’m not there the bill seem very wrong I know there is a basic charge but really and advice or examples it seems Dodgey
Thoughts please
No pool nothing all totally of getting billed monthly. Only there one weekend and that month say 40 euros no one there thought

I don’t know about where you are but my water bill also includes the charge for the rubbish collection.

We had a similar problem with our bills and we discovered we were losing water through our filtered water system under the sink .
Once we got that sorted, the bills were a lot less, and we were able to monitor the water dial outside the property which is checked regularly by the water company to ensure we had found where the problem had started and to confirm we had found the leak before we had to do further investigation.

You have a leak.however the Bill's you get every 2/3 months include a €70 council fee for bins etc.

When turning your water off turn it off before it goes into the meter that way if there is one you wont get billed for it hope this helps

Just got here checked meters I don’t live here and my neighbours who do there meter is lower than mine and I turn my water of in road when leave mad ????
You have to take note of meter readings.
