Hi all.
We're coming over in October for a couple of weeks, since we were caught up in the Coronavirus shutdown in March, so heading back to catch up.

Looking for anyone who has access to a dingy, or even a yacht, as I'm an RYA qualified Dingy A helm and a Day Skipper, so looking to either rent a dingy or join as a crew on a yacht.

For those in the know, I've completed 2 Round the Island races in last few years, but have never sailed abroad.

Can anyone help?

You could try these guys.

But they may be on hold until Aug/Sept.

Hi,

I am a regular dinghy sailor back home in Ireland and if you fancy a family or a solo sail in a dinghy in the lovely warm waters of the Mar Menor, check out this small local sailing school located in San Pedro del Pinatar, about 15 minutes south of La Zenia. They rent boats by the hour at very affordable prices. The boats are a bit rough and ready, but sea worthy! Their Web page is www.socaire.com. I would ring in advance to book, but last year they were open most days in July and August. The sea breeze kicks in in the afternoon and can be a bit of fun in a Laser!

Have fun,

Paul
