Good Afternooon,

We are moving out to the La Zenia area in Feb/March next year.  We are looking for an English Speaking Medical Centre, as my wife has some health issues, and needs repeat medication, care etc.

Can anyone please recommend a good medical center, and also does anyone know if there is a monthly fee, or any info available would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Pat & Marie.

Re the monthly fee ... this depends on your age.

If you want to stay for >3 months at a time, you need Residency.

To qualify for residency, you need to demonstrate that you will not be a drain on Spain.

This includes having healthcare.

If you are of UK pensionable age, you can join the Spanish NHS (and by doing so, give up UK NHS access, other than for EHIC emergency treatment).

If you are below UK pensionable age, you need private healthcare (which you can exchange for buying-in to the Spanish NHS after a year).

The Medical Centre at the end of Cabo Roig strip, past the Sabodell Bank, has English speaking staff who are very helpful.
