Several posts have been added to the Forum by people looking for work in the Care Sector with the view that British / Irish qualifications are easily transferred to Spain. However, while they may have a high level of expertise they would need to to register for tax and insurance at the INSS and Agencia Tributaria, ideally have a working knowledge of Spanish, while they may be undoubtedly well qualified they would need to contact their local Town Hall ( Ayuntamiento ) and submit their qualifications to Social Services ( Servicios Sociale ) to ensure they are qualified to carry out this work in Spain, also it is likely that a Police Check would need to be carried out as they would be working with vulnerable clients.
