Stolen water meter
Just to let people know our water meter has been stolen! We spoke to hydro Aqua who said there was nothing to pay on our account and no reason for it to be missing , gave me a maintenance team telephone number to re install a new one , but to have a translator to explain as no English spoken. We phoned our lawyer to explain our predicament , and turns out , because it was stolen you have to go in person to nearest police station who have to report the theft give you their document to cover you for the installation of a new meter. No one can go on your behalf it must be the account holder, so now we wait for restrictions to be lifted before we can do anything and get flight over from uk to La Zenia our district . Our lawyer also said we were their third client to have this problem , so please be aware of this problem , no one else in our block of meters touched but as I say it is happening so be aware.
