Does anyone know of modern jive dancing/classes also in this area.

Have you ever thought of line dancing? It is very popular here on the Costa's with classes from beginners upwards and several dances a week. We live in La Zenia and would happily take you to a class.

Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango
Friday – Restarts Friday 7th September 2018
Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;
Sequence dance class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.
Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango
Restart Wednesday 5th September 2018
New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm
Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm
All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]
Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.

Of course they also teach line dancing.
in reality it is a choreography for sale.
has nothing to do with couple dancing.
usually something for children
American / Canadian and Australian

Hi, I posted the Ballroom dancing as we teach Rock and Roll and Jive in the ballroom classes. I do not know why people are pointing you towards line dancing when you are looking for Rock and Roll and Jive or modern jive which is normally called Ceroc. There is a school out here near you that teaches modern jive and it is called Paso a Paso, they have many different venues where they hold these teaching sessions, probably have one near you, it is run by Adam and Maxine Goodie. They have quite a large following, so if you are looking for modern jive then they are the ones for you.
I have just looked up their facebook page for you - good luck, but remember if you are looking for ballroom Rock and Roll and Jive we teach that - it is different:
