We are staying in La Zenia with a view to a future living in Spain during the winter months. I’ve joined the local gym Maxx for a month but for the moment we’ve not hired a car so limited to public transport.
Does anyone know where we could go dancing? - in the UK we go to ceroc and ballroom but open to trying anythibg new if that will be easier from La Zenia.
There is Line Dancing in La Zenia, not sure what night but located in the white hall beside the large Chinese restaurant beside the La Zenia roundabout on the N332.

Hi, not that far from La Zenia in a car:
Dancing - Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Argentine Tango
Wednesday - Classes - Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango
New Beginners Class 11am – 12pm
Intermediate Class 12pm – 13.00pm
Sequence Dance Class Friday 7pm - 7.45pm.
Social Dance - Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 8pm - 10.30pm ;
All the above are held at El Paraiso Restaurant, Urbanisation Jardin del Mar, Torrevieja [near McDonalds and Carrefour]
Never danced before, not a problem, come along 11am Wednesday mornings and have a go, it is fun and you will meet like minded people. You will be surprised at how quickly you are dancing.

Friday night social dance looks good for us - checked the buses, they dont stop at La Zenia in evening and in any case last bus is 9 pm - will look at taxis. Hopefully get along to at least one session. Next time we come we hope to have a car.
Have to say this is such a great forum, everyone is very friendly and helpful 😀 x

Please contact me before you come along - just heard today that the hall we use is going to be turned into a church, don't know how much longer we will have this venue for.
