Hi Matt,
As RayD states there is a standing charge as there is in the UK.
Depending who you are with will determine the amount.

Matt, as in the UK ,if you have a contract with a Utility company ,TV company, Phone company etc, you pay a continuity of Service charge such as a Standing charge, regardless of whether or not you use the product.which is fair and correct .

Probably if you look at your bill it is never for exactly one month, the number of days covered varies so likewise the bill varies.

Hi there Matt
We are with Siesta and ours is about €13
It might be worth looking to change but check there’s no charge for leaving in your contract
