Hi everybody. My name is Sophie and I am due to move to the area with my friend Chris and 6 year old daughter in September 2017. We have found an apartment online that we are hoping to move into providing we like it when we view in June. The estate agent we are renting from has been very helpful so far and has helped me with information etc. I am aware i have to get us an NIE number for my daughter to be able to attend the local school. Does anybody have any information on the school? I also have a car that is going to be transported over by cartran for upon arrival. Any information about what i need to do to register my car so it will be legal to drive and the time span i have to do this in? I will also be looking for work, i currently work in a hairdressers, cafe and have a cleaning job at the moment, but i am willing to do any kind of work with previously working in a family run post office and i have many years experience in retail, customer service also with growing up around numerous family businesses. My friend is also a handy man who is looking for work. He currently works in property maintenance and buys and sells cars. He is good with car mechanics, property refurbishments, building / building labouring, cleaning, shop work and anything else really! We are both very excited to move along with my daughter but of course a bit nervous as it is a big step to move to another country where we don't know anybody. Will we find it easy to find jobs? Also how does the healthcare system work? Sorry for all the questions. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you :)
