Good morning,

I have just booked a viewing trip with SpanishLegalHomes and wonder if anyone has any idea of what it is like to live in Cabo Roig. I have been to Torrevieja and was a little disappointed as it is so built up with high rise buildings on some of the beaches. Graffiti everywhere.  We are retired and are looking for a place where we can walk our dog, relax and not be inundated daily with tourists. Is Cabo Roig a pretty area or is it just another town that has been built for commercialism.  I am simply trying to find a place for a quietish life after years of being in hospital.  I would appreciate your information on this area and any other similar areas as I need access to get to Los Monsesinos where Torrevieja Christian Fellowship has relocated to.  Many thanks.

Chris and Steve

I think you are going to have to leave the coastal strip if you don't want to be inundated with tourists.

Mr Spin.

If you move slightly away from the Cabo Roig strip over the other side of the motorway, areas like Lomas de Cabo would more than fullfill all the points listed in your wish list.

Viewing trips are a poor way to see properties. You have no control in the process and the agent usually takes you to see the properties which benefit them in terms of commission. Mainly new builds.

My advice would be to cancel this. Get an agent locally. Book your own flights and hotel and control the process.

Hi, personally, rather than have agents bomabard me with properties that didn’t meet my criteria and mush up my head, I researched the areas online, google mapped and street mapped, narrowed my online searches to 12 properties and just viewed them in a week. My online choice was la zenia (perfect for our requirements) ....not overly busy but there if we need it....the place I looked at online was just as I expected and so we bought it.  Best choice we’ve ever made. ...I can highly recommend inmoinvestments in la zenia, genuine with no pressure.   Good luck

Torre horadada 10 mins up the road from Cabo Roig a lot less built up and quieter but still enough going on. We bought through a viewing trip and were happy with the whole process.
